| General Conditions GENERAL CONDITIONS
RESERVATION
Reservation should be made at least 90 days in advance with Thailandbird.com Team.

PAYMENT
1) A deposit of 30%(thirty percent) of the total trip price is required when reservation is confirmed.
2) Payment of remaining 70%(seventy percent) of the total trip price is to be made at least 45 days before the trip commences.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
If it is necessary for the client to cancel the trip, the client may notify Thailandbird.com of the cancellation subject to the following conditions:
(1) For cancellation by not less than 45 days before the trip commences, the client shall receive a refund of the deposit and other sums already paid by the client (if any), except the sum under the second paragraph;
(2) For cancellation by not less than 30 days before the trip commences, 30%(thirty percent) of the total payment will be forfeited, in addition to the sum under the second paragraph;
(3) For cancellation by not less than 20 days before the trip commences, 40%(forty percent) of the total charge will be forfeited, in addition to the sum under the second paragraph;
(4) For cancellation in less than the period specified in (1) (3) above before the trip commences (19-0 days) or failure to notify a cancellation, all the deposit and other sums already paid by the client shall be forfeited.
In case of sub-clause (1), (2) or (3) above, if visa fee and/or other money not refundable have been paid before OWITS is notified of the cancellation, the visa fee and/or such other money shall be deducted from the money to be refunded to the client in addition to the money to be forfeited.
TRIP PRICE INCLUSION
The quoted trip price is based on land operation in Thailand, i.e. commencing from picking up from hotels from the first day of the tour until transfer back to hotels on the last day of the tour where the land trip concludes. The trip price includes all accommodations in double occupancy, meals, transportation as well as the English speaking guide services. However is due to the condition of each program.
INSURANCE
Thailandbird.com holds a Public Liability Insurance for clients which covers accidents as a result of a third party.
RESPONSIBILITY
Thailandbird.com assumes no liability for any death, injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or for any reason whatsoever, or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or of any company or person engaged in conveying passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. Thailandbird.com shall accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other causes. Such expenses if occurred are supposed to be borne by participants.
FORCE MAJEURE
In case of a force majeure beyond the reasonable control of Thailandbird.com such as (but not limited to) strike, riot, unrest, war (whether declared or not), natural hazard, etc. and the trip cannot be arranged as scheduled, and it is necessary to cancel or postpone the trip, Thailandbird.com shall not be held responsible whatsoever. In addition, the client may not claim or bring a legal action to claim for any damages arising from the absence or postponement of the trip. In case of no trip, Thailandbird.com shall make a refund to the client for the amount paid by the client in respect of those who do not take the trip, except for the expenses already paid by Thailandbird.com and not refundable. |
