Khanab Nam, a remnant mangrove forest in front of the town of Krabi, supports a variety of mangrove birds. The forest is easily accessible by boat.
Attractive birds include:
Chinese Egret, Brown-winged Kingfisher, Ruddy Kingfisher, Mangrove Pitta, Blue-throated Bee-eater, Streak-breasted Woodpecker, Ashy Tailorbird, Mangrove Whistler.
